Double-acting Hydraulic Cylinders With Stroke 300mm

● Material: 45# Steel ● Rod Surface Condition: Rod chromed ● Application: Metallurgy

Product Description

A double acting hydraulic cylinder (hydraulic seal) has two piston surfaces and hydraulic fluid can be applied in both directions. It allows the cylinder to move in and out actively. The surface affected during retraction is smaller because the piston rod is connected to that surface. As a result, the cylinder has a higher velocity during retraction and a lower force (traction) than during extension.

Of course, the extra components lead to additional complexity. You may need to choose your system more carefully and work more closely with EOOE Hydraulic's reliable service technicians to ensure long-lasting performance from your double-acting hydraulic cylinders. Minor leaks or inefficient pistons can affect the accuracy of your products and services.

A double-acting cylinder is more common than a single-acting cylinder. It can work at any angle and in almost any application that requires hydraulic power. Even in applications where gravity (or weight) can help retract, hydraulics are often applied to control acceleration, change travel speed and cushion stops. Travel in one direction is always different from travel in the other, all things being equal; pushing motions require more force and are slower, but produce more work output. The pulling action is faster, but produces less work output.

Double acting hydraulic cylinder features

Double-acting cylinders are more complex than single-acting cylinders. They can transfer hydraulic fluid and output force in both directions. The ports are positioned at both ends of the spherical shaped ring and alternate which end receives the pressure. This results in push and pull motions, and thrusts or torsional loads. These specialized spheres are ideal for applications that require greater industrial system capacity.

These cylinders have two ports at the ends of the cylinder, head, and rod, and they are used simultaneously during the extension and retracting process. The spring size is critical to the size of the cylinder and the stroke and bore. If the spring is too small, it can cause a poor response. In addition, a larger spring may result in an inconsistent end-of-stroke position. This is why a spring is important.

Double-acting cylinders are better suited for applications requiring several stroke cycles. They are less expensive and less complicated to maintain, which makes them a more cost-effective choice. They are often used in commercial and light industrial applications. In addition to being more efficient, double-acting cylinders can also be used in mobile equipment. They also require less hydraulic fluid than single-acting cyclic hydraulic symbiosis cylinders.
