Product Description

Hollow chrome plated rods are produced from cold-drawn seamless tubes or hollowed bars. These chrome plated hollow bars undergo grinding and precision polishing on the outer diameter, followed by chrome plating to achieve a specific thickness. The high precision tolerances of chrome plated shaft ensure an exact fit within hydraulic cylinder manufacturing for piston rods, providing exceptional corrosion resistance due to the chrome plating.

 

Hollow chrome plated rods advantages:

1. Weight reduction: Compared to solid rods, hollow chrome plated rods reduce their own weight and overall weight of mechanical equipment.

This not only improves the operational efficiency of mechanical equipment, but also reduces energy consumption and production costs.

2. Improve transmission efficiency: The hollow piston rod transmits power through the hollow cavity, reducing friction and resistance, and improving transmission efficiency.

This makes the operation of mechanical equipment smoother and allows for better performance.

3. Good rigidity and bending resistance: The hollow chrome plated bar from Chenyu has been forged and precision processed, and has good rigidity and bending resistance.

This enables the hollow chrome rod to withstand large loads, ensuring the stability and reliability of mechanical equipment.

4. Improve thermal conductivity: Due to the presence of an internal cavity in the piston rod, heat can be quickly transmitted through the cavity, improving the heat dissipation effect.
