Eprinomectin is the latest generation of veterinary deworming drug with high efficiency, broad spectrum and low residue. It is mainly used to control parasites, lice, mites, flies and other internal and external parasites in livestock (especially in the lactating period) . Has repellent activity against gnats, hookworms, roundworms, worms, insects and mites. It is mainly used to treat gastrointestinal line disease, itch mite and swine scabies in livestock.

 

Eprinomectin is currently the most active broad-spectrum antiparasitic drug in the avermectin series of drugs, and it is the drug with the widest distribution coefficient of this type of drug in milk. Trial experiments have shown that Eprinomectin can be effectively prevented and controlled for internal and external parasites of cattle and sheep by administration of 0.2 mg/kg body weight. When used in lactating cows, the ratio of concentration in milk to plasma is less than 0.2, and the residual amount in milk is low, and no drug withdrawal period is required for lactating cows; the residual amount in muscle is low, and no drug withdrawal period is required for beef cattle . No withdrawal period is required for dairy and beef cattle.
