Strong Acid Cation Exchange Resin Hydrogen Form is a highly effective ion exchange resin with an extremely reactive polymer, which acts as an effective cation exchanger of positive ions. This cation exchange resin is used for removing cations from aqueous solutions and in water purification. The hydrogen form of strong acid cation exchange resin is capable of replacing almost all divalent cations such as Ca2+, Mg2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, and many more with a strong affinity for hydrogen ions. The hydrogen form is also effective for the removal of monovalent cations, such as NH4+, K+, Li+, Na+, and so on.

This powerful resin can effectively exchange and remove hard-water ions or other unwanted cations from any water source. Furthermore, its exchange mechanism is independent of the pH level and is able to exchange some cations even at pH levels of 0 to 2.
